About ARCHIBUS
Web Central is OSU's online work portal for ARCHIBUS, our Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) System. Geospatial System's Office of Facilities Information has supported OSU's ARCHIBUS database since 1999. The foundation of this system is its authoritative building and room inventory, and direct links to our as-built floor plans. The Office of Budget and Asset Management, our partner in introducing ARCHIBUS to campus, has used ARCHIBUS to track space allocation across the university since 1999. Our second partner, Risk and Property Management, has been using ARCHIBUS since 2004 to manage insurance records for OSU facilities. During 2009, Facilities Information began developing projects with Parking and Transit Services and Environmental Health and Safety to provide these additional departments the benefits of a consolidated facilities data warehouse. In 2014, the Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources began using Archibus to better manage their resources across the State of Oklahoma.
